I guessed it! That adorable little smirk is undeniably yours. But unfortunately for me, I see that Ron Bailey called it already. Late again.

Ronbailey nailed it - I'm the dork in the blue and black shirt.

@John: that's a girl. So, uh, thanks. Her name was Melissa (and still is, AFAIK) and I got bitten by her St. Bernard once.

Top row, 2nd in: Betty. She was the daughter of Polish immigrants and she stank to high heaven. She had a crush on me. Lucky me. She carried that Kurpianka doll everywhere.

Top row, red shirt: Maryanne, who stopped growing right around that time. Seriously, when 5th grade rolled around, she was still all of 3'11". I bet she's in the circus now.

3rd row, 2nd in: don't remember his name, but he had a "stomach problem", and barfed up on the classroom floor at least twice a week.

Bottom row, 3rd in: Lance, who was always yelling "I'M VIETNAMESE NOT CHINESE!" for some reason.

And this was the *gifted* group.

Good times, good times...
