I would like to add that the aspiring writer may do well to ignore publishers&#039; specialisms. Don&#039;t worry, for example, if a publisher states that they are only interested in, say, military history. Send in your erotic cyber-punk fantasy noir graphic novel anyway: if you believe in it, it&#039;ll get picked up.</description>
